اریکا ابی رایت (متولد 26 فوریه 1971)، حرفه ای به نام Erykah Badu، خواننده آمریکایی، ترانه سرا، تهیه کننده رکورد و بازیگر است. تحت تأثیر R&B، روح و هیپ هاپ، Badu در اواخر دهه 1990 به برجسته شدن رسید، زمانی که اولین آلبوم استودیویی او Baduizm (1997)، او را در خط مقدم جنبش روح نو قرار داد و نام مستعار "ملکه روح نئو" را توسط منتقدان موسیقی به دست آورد. کار Badu پس از باز کردن یک نمایش برای D'Angelo در سال 1994 در فورت ویت آغاز شد که منجر به ثبت نام اجرایی Kedar Massenburg او را به Kedar Entertainment. اولین آلبوم Badu، Baduizm، در 11 فوریه 1997 منتشر شد.
