اسلکnot ( SLIP-not) یک گروه فلزی سنگین آمریکایی است که در Des Moines، آیووا، در سال 1995 توسط هر خلبانی، Shawn Crahan، Anders Colsefni و Basist Paul Gray تشکیل شده است. پس از چندین تغییر خط در سال های اولیه، این گروه در 9 عضو از سال 1999 تا زمان مرگ گری در سال 2010 به پایان رسید: Crahan، Gray، Jordison، کریگ جونز، میک تامسون، Corey Taylor، Sid Wilson، Chris Fehn و جیم Root. اسلکnot به خاطر تصویر جلب توجه، سبک تهاجمی موسیقی و نمایش های زنده پر انرژی و آشفته شناخته شده است. اولین آلبوم دموی گروه، Mate.
