Oasis یک گروه راک انگلیسی است که در سال 1991 در منچستر تشکیل شده است. این گروه در ابتدا شامل لیام گالا (خوان های سرب)، پل "Bonehead" Arthurs (guitar)، پل "Guigsy" McGuigan ( گیتارbas) و تونی مک کالل (drums). لیام از برادر بزرگترش نول گالاگر ( گیتار سرب، آواز) خواست تا چند ماه بعد به عنوان یک عضو پنجم ملحق شود تا شکل آنها را نهایی کند. نوئل رهبر واقعی گروه شد و وظایف ترانه نویسی را برای چهار آلبوم اول گروه به عهده گرفت.
